The Country Boys
These are the names of the Band members that make up the
Country Boy's.
The Country Boy's are all residents of Port Aux Basques and they have
many years of musical experience. Bernie have been playing for nearly
forty years around this area and on the mainland with many different
bands.But this band The Country Boy's was formed about 9 years ago to
play for Sunday afternoon entertainment at the Chignic Lodge between 3pm
to 6pm from May until November and is still doing so today. Bernie in
the meantime have recorded 3 CD's in which he has enjoyed tremendous
success. Bruce has played with many bands over the years and still
enjoys doing so. He and Bernie have been together as The Country Boy's
from day one when they started. Bob also played with several bands such
has The Ocean Showband and Elroy And Linda Bobbett just to name a few
and later joined The Country Boy's.
The Country Boy's play a variety of music from country to rock to newfie
and have played it all around our coast.
